The inter-ministerial commission in charge of opening the nuclear test archives has been officially installed.

The interministerial commission in charge of opening the nuclear test archives, promised by the President of the Republic Emmanuel Macron during his visit to Polynesia, was installed on Tuesday 6 October by the Minister Delegate to the Minister of the Armed Forces, Geneviève Darrieussecq.

Teaching the nuclear fact
Polynesia is represented on this national commission by the head of the Polynesian delegation for the follow-up of the consequences of nuclear testing (DSCEN), Yolande Vernaudon, and by the educational inspector in charge of the Polynesian project: “teaching the nuclear fact”.

Polynesia has high expectations of this commission, which should help lift the veil on these nuclear tests.
