The first border police service (Paf) of Wallis and Futuna was installed on Tuesday 8 November in Mata-Utu. This was notably the occasion for a ceremony to award the stripes of trainee peacekeepers of the national police to the five officers of the new Paf.
The service is composed of its director and five officers who have returned from training in New Caledonia. Next year, five other officers will be trained to join the Paf of Wallis and Futuna.
